What mattered was the effect.
This is one of my favorite Stephen King books, along with The Long Walk that I introduced a couple of weeks ago. I love a good zombie yarn.

Until a week ago, I had only read one Stephen King book- The Green Mile. Last week, I got On Writing from the library. I liked it so much that now I want to read as many of his books as I can to see his advice "at work".
