Introducing... Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline

Introducing books through the first paragraph or so...

I believe in ghosts. They're the ones who haunt us, the ones who have left us behind. Many times in my life I have felt them around me, observing, witnessing, when no one in the living world knew or cared what happened.

I am ninety-one years old, and almost everyone who was once in my life is now a ghost.

I absolutely loved this book. It was the kind of story that I didn't want to end. Historical fiction that was beautifully written. I do wish that some loose ends were tied up, such as Molly's future as she aged out of foster care and how that overall experience shaped her. I will recommend this book to everyone!
